Known to the listener by his projects Gnaw Their Tongues, Seirom, Aderlating, Cloak Of Altering and De Magia Veterum, Mauric De Jong with the album Sacred Blood presents his improvisational drone-doom for the first time on VOLOKRecords.
The music of the album is harsh and uncompromising. Filled with mystical meaning and medieval atmosphere. It reeks of cold and death. The author masterfully conveys to the listener a feeling of fear, mystery and prejudices of the time. We are like in a black and white movie slowly down the damp steps to the dark cellar of his own subconscious. In the age of the Inquisition bonfires, witchcraft into the darkness of ignorance.
